About Heathfield and the surrounding area

Heathfield is a small market town located 60 miles south of London, in the county of Sussex, and the district of Wealden.

With a population of just over 11,000, the town offers a close proximity to larger towns such as Eastbourne and Tunbridge Wells, both just over 15 miles away. The seaside resort of Brighton is also a 40 minute drive.

The town itself provides a wide range of amenities, such as; a pharmacy, coffee shops, antique shops, and multiple pubs, restaurants, and supermarkets.

The College plays an important part of the town’s community. With links to the local parish council, and the local charity the ‘Heathfield Partnership’, the College takes part in local events such as fairs, bonfires, and carnivals.
